I may be missing something here, but when using waze on the app or via carplay, I get a voice warning that there is a red light camera, but no voice warning when there is a speed camera.
For me I’m not always looking at my nav screen so to have a voice tell me that there is a speed camera coming up is crucial. Is there a way to make this happen in waze?
I feel its a major oversight. Apple maps does it and its super useful.

Unfortunately not. I think its been asked for many times… I agree, its a key missing feature and an option that should be in the app for users to choose.
It would need to be an option for me, immediately suppressed.
The overspeed verbal warning is more than enough; being advised of every camera on M25 at all speeds for example would be extremely irritating.
The occasional report before reaching a change of speed limit with a camera following has to be accepted.
As an option yes, similar to options for other alerts like level crossings etc. I guess its one of those Marmite things. I’d have it switched on. I listen to Waze and only glance at the screen when at junctions or when reassurance is needed. A silent speed camera warning is useless for me.
I believe you only get the verbal speed camera warning if you are going above the speed limit? As you are all such careful, law-abiding drivers you wouldn’t need to know the camera is there.
Waze Suggestion Box is the best place to put this idea/request
