Hey Guys, referring to the report I dropped at the Hindmarsh Drive Intersection with Streeton Dr.

I realise there are cases where split roads don’t follow the guidance and now that it is split there may be little point putting it back. It just adds complexity into the map that doesn’t need to be there. In this case the road might as well be a two way as there are no instances where navigation restrictions couldn’t be solved with a simple turn restriction.
Given the roadworks at the north end, if it was to be changed back I would suggest it not be changed back until it is all finished anyway.
I have already adjusted the north intersection, it was navigating like a right bend at the T intersection with cotter road (when navigating to the city this morning the next direction when entering streeton dr at hindmarsh where the split happens was the parkway on ramp.)
Hi,
My leaning is to leave it as is. You’d probably find that no sooner was it un-split, someone would be proposing it be split. The median strip is fairly wide and I think people would expect to see it displayed as a dual carriage way.
On the topic of the road works further north on Streeton Drv, I was thinking of making some temporary changes to better reflect the road works, but then saw this notice which indicates a traffic switch will take place this Wednesday 21 May. There’s a link to a letter which says there’s a map on the back but they didn’t include the map on the web version. (Did you get the letter?) So I figured no point in making changes until after the switch.
The median strip is fairly wide and I think people would expect to see it displayed as a dual carriage way. thus why i split the road. i have been talked to by the AM about this and i did offer to change it back.
My reasoning was that the GPS points had some wide enough gaps but after talking about this i started doubting my actions.
i have not doubled any other roads in the area
