There are a few more streets in the area with “no city” as the primary and an alt street name that has the same street name w the proper city.
Does this cause the map or app to function in a different way than I can figure? Or is it a leftover from base map importing that needs to be changed? Or …?

It’s a leftover relic from a previous project attempting to update city names in the area. Since New Jersey is comprehensively incorporated so that every spot in the state is at least part of a township, there should not be any segments with no city name. Instead, they need to be updated with the correct municipal name (South Brunswick), along with any local unincorporated names that may be used to find HN-based addresses along the street (Dayton).
