Is that to convert St to St. or will it also convert ones that have been worked around to be saint?
It will convert “St %” to “St. %” and “% - St %” to “% - St. %”
I.e for street names starting with "St ", allowing for ones with preceding A- or B-road designations.

From what I understand the second one is for Numbered roads.
So B123 - St Road St becomes B123 - St. Road St
I was thinking the same thing. The second change is backwards and would change all segments ending in Street to end in Saint. Not what you would want.
I believe the idea is only if it contains charcters before and after the st, such as my example above.
But this is only my understanding from what Tim pointed out and from the layout of the examples given.
Ah, OK. I see now. Yes, when “- St.” appears in the middle of the segment name, not the end. I missed the importance of the trailing space+% in Darren’s post.

- There is no abbreviation for Highway. Atm I’m using ‘Hwy’.
- I can’t find any example of ‘Garden’ (no ‘s’) in the UK recently. It’ll be interesting to have some example. :mrgreen:
