Studded tires and roads in Sweden

In Sweden there are roads which you may not use if you have studded/spike snow tires on your car.

So depending if you have studdless snow tires you may drive on the road but
if you have studded tires its prohibited.

Now routing in waze gets me wrong driving directions since I have snowspikes.

Is there any way to implement this. Either to tell Waze that this is road is not allowed
to drive on between certain dates ranges, or to have user/group editable personal layers?

Studded tires! Didn’t think of that! Where I live, we have other roadtypes that are not supported by Waze, like cab- and bustrails, zones where trucks are only allowed in the morning, ferries and tollroads. At the moment, Waze does only have 4x4 roads as an alternative roadtype that can be allowed or disallowed at will in the client - maybe you could define those studroads as 4x4?

Many other wazers are asking Waze to support a more flexible definition of roadtypes, that are better adapted to different countries. Check waze.uservoice.com, where some entries deal with the matter. Pick one and vote for such features!

I would advise against doing that, as this is a variable type situation. I would go over to the official suggestion website waze.uservoice.com and either vote for the current suggestion or add yours. Maybe we need a “don’t use this road” preference that can be defined per user.

Thanks for pointing out waze.uservoice.com I have gone there and added my suggestion
as a per user/group editable road route layer option.

Ie you could be a 4x4 driver, non studded tire driver, taxi/bus lane driver, resident in a resident allowed only driving area.

If you like the idea please vote for it.
