Hi,

We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.

[The user’s request content] “2501 Park Dr Santa Ana Ca 92707 is not correctly inputting on the map where the cross street of Central is. Instead it shows up on the cross street of Hemlock. Not a major deal but relatively annoying”

Please let the reporter know that the position for 2501 Park Dr, Santa Ana has been adjusted. This fix should reach mobile devices within a few days.

NOTE: Waze stores all destinations that had previously searched for and will show them to the reporter again when they do a search. Therefore, the reporter needs to remove the destination manually.

In a few days (I recommend Saturday), please tap “Where to?”, scroll to look for 2501 Park Dr, Santa Ana. The next step depends on the reporter’s version of Waze.

  • If the reporter sees three dots to the right, tap the dots, then tap “Remove”
  • If the reporter DOES NOT see the three dots, press on the destination for a few seconds until another menu appears. Tap “Remove drive”. Keep doing this until all copies of the destination are removed.

Perform these steps if the destination is also in Saved places, Home, and/or Work.

Then, on Saturday or later, please tap “Where to?” and search for 2501 Park Dr, Santa Ana again. The reporter should see a teardrop shape on the left. If not, please check the search history/Saved places/Home/Work again as the destination is still in the device cache.
