Submitting a new company name in Sunway Velocity V2 Office on Waze (Malaysia)

Hi Waze,

We have already submitted a request via Waze to add in a new business name in Sunway Velocity V2 Office, but’ it’s taking a while already, so we would like to follow up on this matter.

We would like to add the following business name to this location:

New place name: MARS GREENTECH SDN. BHD

Google Maps reference: STARBOX HOLDINGS BERHAD

Remarks: It was previously named under Starbox Holdings Berhad, we would like to change it to MARS GREENTECH SDN BHD with the same address.

Kindly assist in adding the new company name or approving the necessary process to allow the location to be correctly identified in Waze.

We checked the location provided but were unable to find any request for MARS GREENTECH SDN BHD. It may not have met the Waze Place Guidelines.

Also, the Starbox location you shared via Google Maps points back to Sunway Velocity Mall, so we’re unable to confirm the intended site.

just want to confirm this location is an indoor location or can reach by the driver directly ? Can you provide the photo of the facade of the premises so I can proceed further thanks.

Yes, it is an indoor location. Please find the photo below for your reference. We are located at Level 3 of the Velocity Office 2 building.

Thanks for the information! Since this is an indoor location and is not directly accessible by drivers, we recommend that Wazers set V Office 2 as their navigation destination instead.

This will provide a more appropriate destination for drivers. Therefore, no further action will be taken on this request.

Thank you for your clarification. I understand the concern regarding the office being an indoor location and that drivers should navigate to Velocity Office 2 for access.

However, I would like to clarify that our request is not to create a new indoor navigation destination or a new location pin.

There is already an existing Waze business listing at this exact address under the previous company name, Starbox Holdings Berhad, as shown in the attached screenshot. The existing listing currently displays:

The company occupying this same office unit has now changed to MARS GREENTECH SDN. BHD. Therefore, we are simply requesting for the existing business/place name to be updated from “Starbox Holdings Berhad” to “MARS GREENTECH SDN. BHD.”, while keeping the same address, location and existing navigation arrangement.

We are completely fine for drivers to continue being routed to Velocity Office 2 / the appropriate building entrance or drop-off point. We are not requesting that Waze route vehicles directly to Level 3 or inside the building.

The purpose of the request is mainly so that when customers, business partners or visitors search for MARS GREENTECH SDN. BHD. on Waze, they are able to find the company at the correct building, just as they were previously able to search for Starbox Holdings Berhad at the same address.

I have also previously provided a photograph of our office entrance and company signage confirming that MARS GREENTECH SDN. BHD. is located at VO2-03-05.

Since the Starbox Holdings Berhad listing already exists on Waze at this location, may I kindly request your assistance to edit/rename the existing place listing rather than create a new indoor location?

If there is a specific Waze guideline preventing the existing Starbox Holdings Berhad listing from simply being renamed, I would appreciate it if you could advise us on the appropriate procedure, as we would like to understand why the existing company could be listed at this address but the replacement company name cannot be updated.

Just checked " Starbox Holdings Berhad" is not a Waze location, the result is get from Google Maps, you might need to suggest an edit to Google to remove the place from Waze / Google Maps.
