i suggest that in next realse…when i click on detecting GPS receiver…that program scan com pots from 1 to 9…not just 1-2-5 and 9…

Suggestions for new features in next update:
- Posibility to report by touch. Report in a different place than that you are allowing to report by touch and hold the point in the map.
- Posibility to report by the web page in the live map. Doble click an report.
- In trafic or vehicular congestion add 4 levels of congestion (light, medium, heavy & stop and go)
- The new road button should by less sensitive or require a hold to activate because it puts in new road mode to easy and accidentally while touching the zoom buttons (at least in the iPhone)

I cannot imagine how trafficreporting could improve by allowing users, at home, to report traffic. This is like opening a box of pandora full of hoax reports!
Agreed. I think adding a few extra reporting options would be useful:
- Mark the ‘head and tail’ of a traffic jam when driving in the opposite direction. If I report now, people won’t know how long the traffic jam is. Could work like this: I see the head of a traffic jam, report it and mark the head…report remains open/hidden until I mark the tail, after which the report is sent to the server.
- Report on other roads than my own or opposite. Sometimes on what we call ‘cloverleafs’ in the Netherlands (e.g. http://world.waze.com/cartouche/?q=gorinchem&zoom=4&lat=51.84546&lon=4.95035&layers=BFFTFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTT) I see a traffic jam on one of the other parts of it. Would be nice to be able to scroll through all nearby roads and select the one applicable.
- Reporting of constructions. If I see workers or a broken down truck on the shoulder, it is a hazard on the one hand, because people tend to slow/brake here and this morning it almost came to a sudden standstill due to that.
- Reporting of lane closure. If one or more lanes are closed, a traffic jam can be expected so it might be useful to avoid this road. Off course you would have to be able to report which lanes (left or right) are closed and if this is temporary (broken down vehicle) or permanent.
Sometimes you see a Traffic Jams in a paralle way or from a elevated way below you …
Or just when you have hear from it by Twitter or the radio …

Just keep your eyes on the road, mate. Waze should be as UNobstructive as possible; automating the datacollection is more safe, accurate AND useful. And a lot is possible that wasn’t even tried yet. Ok, especially for you, how about this feature: if speed drops from 120kmh to 0 at once, automatically generate an accident-report… ;^]
Funny. While you’re at it, why not have the phone dial 911 at the same time and maybe even send the GPS coordinates 
. However, the one doesn’t exclude the other. You can imagine that it gets busy on these cloverleafs (I’ll just stick to this term for now) and if on more than one road there’s a traffic jam and I am already in a standstill, I might want to report the other jams as well, since this is useful information for anybody navigating that area…If one is concerned about safety, you might as well disable reporting above 20 mph all together.
It is all solved as soon as waze has a penetration of maybe 1% - someone else will report that jam, better then you can. Can you guess how LONG that other jam is? Its speed? Think about the userinterface for that! No, automatic is the way to go.
