I have been using Waze for the past few days after fining it on the iTunes app store and have loved the idea of it. Though I am one of two people in my area with Waze, I can see it becoming something big very soon. I have a few suggestions after using Waze to improve it.
Red light cameras added to the list of things you can report.
Speed Limit added to roads.
The ability for, at least managers, to manually add red light cameras, speed cameras, and other things. I know where all the red light and speed cameras are in my city and would like to add them to the map but don’t have the time to actually go to them and mark them.
The ability for, at least managers, to manually put map fix markers on roads. I am constantly finding map mistakes that I don’t have the time to fix or want to come back to later to fix.
Thanks, I have never really looked at the live map. I always go into the Update Map page so that I can edit and do stuff. Guess they just need to add “report a problem” to the Update Map page as well.
And if you see a map problem while you are driving and just want a marker to fix it later, press the icon on the left side of the main screen and select Report Map Problem from the list (right below Record New Roads). This will put a problem dot on the map.
