It appears that you guys don’t consider Tasmania part of Oz

Recommendation for Naming Australian Cities

Until such time as Waze fixes the World server to include a separate field for states within Australia, it is recommended to name each City in the following way:
“<City>, <State>”, where <City> is the name of the city or suburb, and <State> is the two or three letter shortened form of the state’s name in capital letters: one of {ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, VIC, WA}.

I’m going to assume the Abbreviation for Tasmania is “TAS”

Canada Provinces
As part of our plan to enable states/provinces in countries outside of the USA, we’ve enabled that option in Canada.
Canadian Wazers – you’ll now see a “state” field when editing addresses, and don’t worry – we already pre-filled the province names for most of the existing roads.

For now, please include the State abbreviation at the end of the Suburb so the routing won’t get confused. When the Waze development team eventually get around to switching on Australia, we can request from Waze admin a bulk clean up of State names, rather than us picking up the pieces.
