Hello All,
My request to become a TE Marshall for my country was recently accepted. Was wondering if any TE Marshalls have any advice and guidance for a newbie. I’m reasonably proficient submitting MTEs TEs and RTCs for my country already but a TE Marshall is a whole new perspective. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Congratulations! It is probably a good idea to talk with your country leadership to see what their expectations are and where they feel you can best contribute. 
You might also like to complete the Waze Map Editor - Road Closures and Traffic Events course, even if you’re already comfortable with it. You can request the badge be added to your profile once you’re complete. 
There’s also a bit of cross-over with Waze First Responder, another Waze role, that is crisis specific. There’s a new course coming out for it soon. The FR role has some extra perks that allow you to collaborate with Waze with on weather alerts, for example. Obviously crisis events are similar to TE Marshall’s focus, but crisis focused. Perhaps you can assist with both.

I actually did go and do the courses you mentioned as a refresher and also to see if I can pick up any additional tips to add to my techniques. And it had some good information in the course. So I think I’m ready for the challenge when it presents itself. Thanks again!
