Ramsey PD will be temporarily designating Prospect St as a one-way road between S Island Av and Canterbury Dr. This is set to begin at 7am on Sunday, August 31st. Traffic will ONLY travel eastbound from Island Ave toward S Franklin Tpk. Estimated to end Nov 2025.
As this change is stated by RPD to be “until further notice” and explained to be for ensuring student safety I’m assuming it won’t end in November but will run util at least the end of the school year.
Thus I’ve set the road permanently to one-way in the Eastbound direction instead of placing a temporary closure on the segment.
Unfortunately, this type of change prevents any short-term road closures from being added until the change goes live in Waze. The change will be live after the next tile update, but since it’s already too late for tomorrow … it’ll be in Tuesday’s update at the earliest.
I’ve created a map comment in Waze. I’m sure we’ll get a few URs on Tuesday.

Ramsey Alert:
Prospect Street will officially be back to being a two way street at 4pm today. The Board of Education will resume using the Main Street parking lot for arrivals and dismissals.
