Temporary Roundabout

Just come across a “Missing Roundabout” report at https://world.waze.com/editor/?lon=-0.59701&lat=51.50607&zoom=6&layers=BTTFFTTTTTTTFTTTTTTTTTTFT

The issue appears to be that Slough Borough Council have installed a temporary roundabout for the next twelve weeks :http://www.sloughexpress.co.uk/News/All-Areas/Slough/Delays-expected-as-temporary-roundabout-is-put-in-at-busy-town-centre-junction-16042013.htm

So do I change it for twelve weeks or just leave it?

As it’s for a definite timescale and we’re back at updates every couple of days, I’d make the change, and go back and remove it from WME just before Slough remove the real thing.

I would treat it as we would for any roadworks, make the necessary changes and then document them in the UK roadworks forum as described in the sticky. I saw the UR but didn’t do the research as I’m too lazy!

I’m guessing as a level 1 there is no way I can stop other editors fiddling with this?

Just came on to find another level 1 editor had cleared the roadworks report I’d put on and recreated the roundabout - looks like they swapped the junction back to how it was without reading and then recreated.

Annoying.
