The "Closures" tab is empty?

I’m a level 3 editor and when I want to close a road I can’t do so because the closures tab is empty for some reason.

The wiki seems to be old and outdated.

I also want to know what is the best practices for road closures that usually takes more than a year? I can’t add a construction event in WME for more than a year, and I’ve read in the forums to not remove the closed road because that will also remove speed data for that road. Do I use turn restriction and draw the new detours? or move the closed road to the new detours?

You need to enable the Road Closures layer:

You can’t create a road closure for more than 6 months, however you can create two road closures, one for the first 6 months and the next one for the following 6 months. Please remember to check the “ignore traffic” checkbox for it.

Also, you may need to ask for road closure permissions to your local community coordinator.
