Too Many Speed Cameras

I have noticed along the Amman airport road the Waze map has at least double the number of fixed speed cameras marked than actual fixed speed cameras. I think people are incorrectly marking vehicle based(temporary) speed cameras as fixed cameras.

Are the cams approved ? gray colored ? or brown ?

Can you please add permalinks ?

There’s a combination of colors.

I will add permalinks for the cameras I am 100% sure don’t exist. I"ve been flagging the non-existent cameras as I drive around and racer33 has been making adjustments.

Gray are approved=active

Brown are just reported and you can ignore them as long as their not approved…they won’t appear in the map

Please make sure if you decide to delete a gray speed cam that it’s not there in reality 100%

Can you please try to contact the last editor and see what was the reason that he added that speedcam and set it to 88 kmh ?

I drove past this area today and can confirm there are no speed cameras on either side of the minor highway here.

This is the closest segment to the location.
