Hi,

I was recently told there are lots of new speed cameras on the Dead Sea Road between Amman and the resort area. If you are travelling this way (siowan), could you please mark these new cameras using the Waze app as a general error with details. The speed/red light camera function has apparently been disabled.

Hi All,

One thing I thought I should mention, when I joined a Waze a couple of year ago, there weren’t many people driving or fixing the map, so some people marked the locations where there were always police cars stopping people for speeding with speed cameras because those were permanent and the “report police” feature did not last long enough for others to refresh it or see it. This is why I think there are a lot of locations with speed cameras that don’t have “real” cameras.

Also there are some places where there are cameras for security purposes that people have set as speeding cameras, so I’ll report those when I see them.
