Following the ability to add turn instructions, it has been decided to stop using instructions embedded in names on ramps and turn lanes. The pages Road Naming Rules on the Map and Turn Instructions have been updated accordingly. Currently, there is no need for a “cleanup operation” to delete names on these types of segments; rather, fix them whenever you edit the segment or the junction.
Please note that when deleting a name for this reason (because it contained “to-…”), you should be aware that the default instructions may change, and sometimes this requires applying a turn instruction override. For example here, if the segments have no names, you need to force “None” for straight ahead (otherwise it will be “Keep left”).
