Your link is to an event that you created. The next step would be to schedule street closures (if you are a Waze for Cities partner and have the ability), and reference the event in each of the closures.

Thanks for the quick reply! An alert was previously added to the map, but an event was not created at the same time. I was adding a separate event (road race) to the map today and noticed the oversight. The current alert is here: https://www.waze.com/partnerhub/map-tool?cardId=alert-562213773%2F1b1a1bb6-c270-4e1f-818f-454d2acc3e74&cardType=3&lon=-71.15558&lat=42.251 and I want to add this to the event as the road closure, but am having trouble editing it.

Any tips?

Unfortunately, map editors don’t have access to the partner hub.

Are you able to edit the closure on this segment https://www.waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&lon=-71.15540&lat=42.25077&zoomLevel=18&segments=86882310 , select “Bussey Street Project” from the Event dropdown, and save?

After that it should be possible to submit the Major Traffic Event itself.
