Unlocked the first. Second was already unlocked.
Oh. I see what the problem is. That second road is “unlocked” but I can’t alter its turn connection because it is connected to another road (in a different direction) that is locked. Seems weird. Anyway, the road that probably needs to be unlocked is therefore:
Though it doesn’t seem like it should have to be unlocked because that’s not the direction which I’m trying to change. Anyway, could someone please unlock this road?

I unlocked all segments east of the interchange, so hopefully that’s all you need.
Those left turn lanes are a bit unorthodox. Are you sure they’re necessary?
Yes. Those turn lanes are VERY unorthodox. There’s nine separated left turn lanes that begin about a 800ft prior to the intersection they actually turn at, and if you miss the entrance to them, you miss the turn. So I figure even though they look really odd, if they aren’t specifically entered, and the turn is placed at the actual intersection, the Waze turn indication will come far too late to actually make the turn while driving. Believe me, it’s really a pain to make left turns there if you’re not really familiar with the location. You pretty much have to start your turn a full intersection prior to the one you want to exit at. Very strange way to design a road.

Have you tried contacting the editor who locked them in the first place? He’s not doing anyone any favors locking roads he hasn’t edited correctly and I hope he’s not still doing it like that.
Or, have you thought about signing up as an area manager?
Note that you can multiselect segments in a single permalink. Might make it easier.

I haven’t figured out how to reach him. I tried bringing up the Waze “members” list, but it always hangs and nothing appears.
I’m kinda new to Waze map editing, so I hope this isn’t a dumb question, but how do I go about signing up to be an area manager? I’ve edited a large portion of the cities I live and work in, and would be happy to help manage them. Can you point me in the right direction.
