Update on last week's technical issues

Hi All,

As you know, we’ve been experiencing some significant technical difficulties in the ROW and IL environments since last Wednesday (Nov, 6th) that have impacted our users’ experience.

We encountered 2 different issues:

  • Disruption in the system’s ability to load user settings
  • Database issues impacting reports, thumbs up and road closures.

And now, we are happy to share that the majority of the issues were mitigated including: user setting, reports and road closures. Thumbs up are still not fully processed and we are working on fixing that as well.

We cannot overstate our appreciation for the Waze community’s incredible support during this challenging time. The effort around communicating directly with Waze staff and investing your time to help us has been invaluable. Your dedication and assistance are truly remarkable.
