I am trying to get an address added to Waze. This is my first time doing this, apologies if this is the wrong place to do that. If it is, hoping you can direct me to the right place.
The address I am trying to add is 19 La Bonne Vie Drive, East Patchogue, NY, 11772. and it’s at these coordinates: (40.793040322128626, -72.9789379934089)
This building is part of an apartment complex. If you look slightly to the east on the map, you can see a building that IS mapped correct: 17 La Bonne Vie Drive, East Patchogue.
The coordinates I gave are to building 19, and I’m hoping I can get the address 19 La Bonne Vie Drive, East Patchogue, NY, 11772 added to that in Waze.
Apologies for the delay getting back to you on your address issue, I took a peek at this address a couple of times and couldn’t figure out how the addresses are laid out in the area. Unfortunately the Suffolk County GIS portal seems to be non-operational currently so I wasn’t able to get more information from that source. I’m still confused by the address layout on La Bonne Vie Drive, but I have added 19 to the map at the location you specified, which will have you stopping on Scott Lane. In order for Waze to navigate properly to this location, you’ll need to remove the address from your home, saved addresses and history to make sure that Waze looks for the new address location when you re-search for it. This change is live in the app now, so you should be able to test this immediately.
