the Streckenmaut/ Route section toll https://www.asfinag.at/toll/route-and-digital-section-toll/ on the Brenner is a toll-road in Waze.
The driving restrictions for everybody who is not accessing the area during this summer and now again in the winter are NOT in Waze.
In the summer we were in contact with HQ and suggested to create a restriction pass for people having their destination in Tirol, so only those would be routed off the Autobahn. HQ considered this but decided against it. They also decided against putting general restrictions/closures for everybody on the restricted roads, because it would affect local access drivers that are allowed to drive there.
Therefore users can only rely that on really long distance drives they are routed via Autobahn only in any case, unless there is a traffic jam/blocked road on the Autobahn (yes, we know…).
