Do you ride a motorcycle? Join our new Waze Motorcycle Community!

Hi everyone,

As we look ahead to our 2026 goals, one of our top priorities is expanding and improving the Waze experience for motorcyclists. We know that riding on two wheels brings its own set of challenges, from navigating complex lane restrictions to identifying specific road hazards.

To make Waze a truly helpful companion for every driver, we are creating a dedicated motorcyclist community, and we want you to be a part of it!

Why participate?
We are currently in an Exploration Phase, and your help as a daily user is essential to support us in defining future features.

Join the conversation
We have created a dedicated space within the beta forum for these discussions. Whether you are a motorcyclist who rides every day or someone with local knowledge to share, we would love to have your help.

FILL OUT THIS FORM and we will ensure your inclusion in the new space!
(After filling out the form, we will add you to the motorcyclists group and share the link to the new forum on Discuss.)

Our goal: listen and learn.

In this first stage, our main goal will be to understand the real needs and daily problems faced by those who use a motorcycle to commute.

We want to gather “insider knowledge” directly from those on the road, focusing on topics such as:

  • Route accuracy and ETA: Identifying cases where motorcycle trip durations and navigation routes need to be optimized, as they often vary significantly from current app estimates.

  • Restrictions: Identifying local rules and access roads that apply specifically to motorcycles.

  • Focused Alerts: Precisely identifying the hazards that concern motorcyclists most, such as pavement quality, oil slicks, or dangerous intersections.

  • Navigation experience: Understanding how motorcycle users use Waze and their driving habits.

We also ask for your help in sharing this news with motorcyclists in your local communities, especially riders who use their bike daily to commute, among our editor and beta groups, to help us kick off this first phase of testing.

Thank you for your continued dedication to the community and for helping us build a safer and smarter experience for everyone on the roads!

Best regards,
By: Ruben
