Had a quick look for the old ‘voice’ thread but couldn’t find it.
I’ve noticed it myself as I live in a Close, but I’ve also got a UR now pointing it out.
Kate (& Thomas) pronounce it as ‘Clos’ and not ‘Close’ but I’m sure it wasn’t always like this.

Apparently they can’t fix it as is, but have developed a work around
Thanks Steve. I’d only searched in the UK forums, didn’t even think to look elsewhere.
As a non-native speaker I don’t even hear a difference between the two versions, and I bet I’ll be pronouncing it wrong as well… English is a funny language at times, it amuses me.
