Water Main Burst - Week Long Road Closure

Hi
Can you please add a closure from last Saturday 27th October until Friday 2nd November inclusive. I can’t select the specific area as the Elgin report of road works is over the top of the section and doesn’t mention the closure. The routing is currently wrong and trying to still go through the closure.

The closure is in both directions on Hainault road to the side of the Shell Garage where it meets Manor Road. It is still possible to use the little side/slip road but it has a less than 6ft width restriction due to kerbs sticking out further than the posts.

Road is dug up due to Thames Water burst Mains works until at least Friday. There are temporary lights in place for the other turn options.
Road works are reported on Essex Highways website but details are not very good.

Thanks for the details, the closure is now live in Waze.

Re the slip road - it’s signed as a 6’6" restriction, so unless Essex Highways have screwed up here then the width between the kerbs will still be sufficient to allow a vehicle of up to that width to pass through, and the width across the poles will be slightly wider than this. Also bear in mind that most vehicles are wider at some point higher up their body than their tyres, so even if the kerbs are a little closer together than they ought to be it still wouldn’t be an issue.
