There are WAY TOO MANY ICONS on the maps routes, even when most of the notifications are turned off in preferences. Many time, in cities where there is lots of traffic when there are SO MANY icons, I can’t even see the map! We get it. HEAVY TRAFFIC. No icon needed. TURN THE MAP RED. Car on side of road. Should only be used if it is a hazard, not just to get points! Some icons COULD just be popups within a half a mile or so, like POLICE VISIBLE. ACCIDENT AHEAD. We don’t need 14 icons due to multiple reports. Also, if the same item comes up within 2 tenths of a mile, it is most likey the SAME ISSUE and does not need separate icons that just crowd the map. Waze is nice inasmuch as people can help. Waze developers need to figure out a better way of delivering that info without getting in the way of the map!
This is not a Map Editor issue, it’s an App issue.
