Hi all!
I’m casting the net wide here… I am building a project car based on an old british sports car, and it has a single DIN headunit. I have decided that the only thing that is required in a classic/sports car in terms of radio/nav is Waze, and bluetooth audio from my phone. Literally nothing else I’m interested in other than a volume knob.

So I would like to try to find one, or I guess more likely, make one. So a few questions that hopefully someone can help with:
- Does something like this exist?
- If I were to make one, what is the optimum method of running Waze in a single DIN unit - Arduino/Raspberry Pi etc? Has anyone done this before?
- I’m not sure what the best way of running Waze is: Standalone using a 4G sim card, or controlled by the phone using Android Auto. The former makes it simpler I suppose and allows it to self update.
If anyone has any tips or input I would be very pleased to hear. Thanks!
