I’ve been making some changes to this area over the last few weeks - https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-2.65260&lat=53.54492&zoom=5 - due to a redesign of the retail park and the additional of some retail units. I’ve also added some places.
Over the course of the changes, it’s been good seeing my changes reflected in the Live Map when it’s refreshed. However, the last couple of refreshes hasn’t included my later updates, i.e. some roads/places that were added on 8th June didn’t seem to make the refresh yesterday, whereas others have. My edits are still there in the editor so they haven’t been removed by a higher level editor.
Will this take some time to make it to the Live Map or is there something amiss here?
Check again as there has been another update to covering edits up to 14th June 13:27 (UK time). There will always be a cut-off point and if you happen to be editing over a period of time the update may fall in between your editing time, some edits will make it, others will not.
If they are still missing, can you provide a Permalink to the actual segments/places, having had a scan around I can’t see anything missing.
If it’s the latter, then this doesn’t follow the same update schedule as the map data used in the app, so seeing discrepancies like this isn’t unusual. Also worth noting that routes generated in LiveMap don’t use exactly the same routing rules as those generated via the app, so sometimes it will give results which differ (potentially significantly so) to the app…
