There seem’s to be a new feature in WME with Waze places being linked to a Google POI map pin using the unique URL from Google. I’ve not seen any information released about this yet but I came across a problem yesterday which I think may be because of an incorrect link.
Does anyone (Beta testers?) have any information on this feature - particularly about which coordinates are used when you navigate to a Waze place that has been linked to a Google pin, or navigate to a Google pin that has been linked to a Waze place?
As I understand it [ref], linking in this way lets waze remove the google POI from search results, in favour of the linked Waze equivalent.
just did a test. linking seems to only remove the google POI from the “Places” page of search results in the app. the google results remain in the search-as-you-type results and they remain in the “Google” page of search results

As far as I know this is only available to L4+ editors 
When creating a new place the link to Google Place option will be available for lower editors but upon saving you’ll get a no permission error.
I can see a few editor requests for place linking upcoming.

Will take a while yet. At 32k now. Though I was at 21k before the map raid.
I’ve still got 20,000 to go. Haven’t been that involved with the speed updates 'til recently.
Is there a plan to extend this feature down to AM, i.e. L3 editors after a period for testing?
