Waze support duplicate/old business address removal request

Hi,

We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.

Request type: Old address removal

User’s message: "Hi

i work at Frank Dale and Step sons GU15 3BN in the UK. there is an error on your map with our address. a customer was just directed to the Harlequin way address which is an old address for our business. i have tried to edit this but cannot seem to do so.

If you type in “Frank dale and Step sons” the Harlequin way pin comes up, this is not correct and needs removing. if you type in " Frank dale and step sons rolls Royce"the Tuscam way address comes up and this is correct. the other address needs removing as we are no longer there. this is not the first time this has happened so if someone can please help me sort that would be great thank you.

Hi, I’ve checked on the editor and the Waze app, and this business shows up as the correct location. I cannot find an entry for “Frank Dale and Stepsons” at Harlequin Way. Finding Frank Dale and Stepsons on the Waze app correctly find the location at Trafalgar Way.

I suspect this may have been a Google Maps entry which has since been rectified. The user will need to remove the incorrect entry from their search history and do a new search.
