Hey everyone,
We’re excited to share an update on the Waze web leaderboard! As you know, we’ve been working on improving the leaderboard and incorporating your feedback. We’ve heard your requests loud and clear, and we’re thrilled to announce some significant progress.
Two of the most requested features are now live on the web leaderboard:
- Separate Editing and Driving Points: You can now see your editing and driving points separately. This gives you a clearer picture of your contributions to the Waze community in each area.
- States for Relevant Countries: We’ve added state breakdowns for several countries, including Mexico, India, and Brazil. This provides more granular data and allows for more localized competition (where applicable).
Important - The Wazer’s locality is calculated as the country/state where they had the most drives over the past 30 days. For Australia, we’ve recently added the dataset to the table, so it’ll take a bit time for for the leaderboard to be updated with areas. We’ll keep you posted.
Thank you for your patience and for your continued passion for Waze. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to making the leaderboard a valuable and engaging experience for everyone.
You can check out the updated leaderboard here.
We’d love to hear what you think! Feel free to share your feedback in the comments here.
Thanks,
Gal
