Hi,
EXCITING NEWS HERE ![]()
Background
Earlier this year, we removed the leaderboard from the app, to make way for the new gamification system that’s still under way.
Before removing it, we consulted with community leaders who shared that the leaderboard is a loved feature, and we should place it in a different home.
Today, we’re excited to share that after a lot of work, the new leaderboard is live!
Where can I find it?

Correction: the Account page’s left side menu now has a button leading to this page!
More about the Leaderboard
-
See the top-500 all time users for any location or globally!
-
When you open the page, you should see your location’s leaderboard, by default
-
Your location = where you drove most in the past 30 days
-
Every visitor should appear in 2 leaderboards:
-
Global
-
One local board
-
The page is and will remain protected by username and password, so only registered users can access it
-
All visitors see a top section, with their username, mood, points and rank:
(unavailable attachment: Leaderboard top section phase 1 ranked.png)
- When opening a local board where you’re not ranked (you don’t drive there), the top section with your personal information will not show up
- Your rank is adjusted based on the location you choose - local / global
Included / excluded users and local boards
- Including and excluding users from the boards: Some users are excluded from the boards, following your requests on the previous Leaderboards - please let me know, in private, of any comments around this.
- “Sticky” local boards: In the past, ~800 users asked to always show up in a specific location’s board (be “stuck” there), regardless of where they drive. These “sticky” locations are copied to the new leaderboard, for users who have logged in recently. Please let me know if you’d like your location to be “stuck” to a certain board.
Known issue
Your own points are shown in real-time, while other people’s points are not and may be up to 24 hours old - this isn’t expected to change.
We hope you’re as excited as we are ![]()
Thanks and have a great day,
Anat, on behalf of the team.
