Waze will not remember my preferred route to work

I am having difficulty getting Waze to remember my preferred route to work and was hoping someone could help me.

Under the navigate screen I have entered my home and work addresses. The program states that it will remember my preferred route to work once I take it a few times, but every morning I choose navigate to work and it tries to take me another route. Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to get Waze to remember the route I take to work every morning?

I use an iPhone 4s if this helps.

You’ve been using it less than a week so at best, give it a little more time and it will get there. At worst, there may be a problem on the map preventing routing via your preferred route. Can you give more details including a permalink of the area?

I have noted that with v3.0.1 (and 3.0 too) that my preferred route (with the heart icon) no longer comes up in my alternate route list.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “permalink”. If you let me know what that is I will try and get you that information. Thanks for your time.

Oops I meant to include a link to the explanation. Obviously forgot. On my phone now which makes it more difficult. Perhaps Alan will oblige? :slight_smile:

Click on “live map” at the top of the web page.
Click on “get directions”.
Enter the “from:” and “to:” addresses and click on “Navigate”.
Click on “Powered by Waze” in the top right corner of the map.
The url in your browser will change and if you copy that you will have a permalink.

Having said all that, I would modify the addresses a little or send the permalink in a pm (personal message) as you may not want the whole world to know where you live and work.
