Hi Community,

Cheers,
1000 points position ±25000
10000 points position ± 4500
150000 points position ± 100
So i think ± 5000 active users
about 6million cars in Belgium ==> (5000/6000000)*100 = 0,083 % of the drivers use waze :?
Waze doesn’t share the numbers of active users, not for any country… so we have to guess…
They share numbers of how many people installed the app, but that’s not very representive for the number of active users…
We do see more and more wazers on the road, it’s a pretty big evolution in the last year.
We can only speculate…
Ok, but how many cars with GPS ? probably less, then your statistics should be fine tuned ![]()
As everyone here I also noticed the last months that the number of active users is growing. I don’t think it will stop growing, I think it will increase more and more. If you’ll look back in 1 - 2 years you’ll see a big bang in amount of users, that’s how I think about it ![]()
the more people own a smartphone and use mobile internet, the more Waze can increase its users ![]()
There are some unofficial sites that try to keep track off the number of users but because they depend on data from the live map it is not accurate at all.
I suspect waze is continually experimenting with the number/percentage of drivers that is displayed on the map. This is because of privacy issues. You can experience this for yourself: On the livemap, try to follow 1 wazer and try to determine the direction he is heading.
One of those website is wazestats but beware of the inaccuracy (http://wazestats.com/active.php?city=24)
