Which 3 graphic assets could be most useful for your community?
- Independence day (leave room for local flag)
- MapRaid (leave room for local flag)
- Group reached x members (leave room for number of group members)
- New feature alert
- Local sporting event
- Family Day
- Mother’s / Father’s day
- Happy local holiday
- Other - please share a verbal response.
We’d like to make a few generic assets which you could use as a basis for celebrating your events!
For example - independence day - we can make the template, leaving a blank circle for you to add your country’s flag.
Let us know which 3 assets would be most useful for you using the poll.
*Please keep in mind that this has to be a generic basis - useful for everyone, and you can later modify it with your own text or local flag.
Thank you
Thanks everyone for casting your vote
I’ll leave the poll open until the end of this week to make sure everyone has a chance to respond.
We’ll share the results and next steps - next Sunday!
Thank you for voting and letting us know which Graphic Assets could be most useful for you!
Based on the poll, you’d like to have these generic assets created -
- New Feature Alert
- Happy Local Holiday
- Mother’s / Father’s day
- Local sporting event
I’m surprised no one voted for the “Group reached x members” but I guess you make your own awesome assets for those
We’ll start working on these requests and keep you posted!
Thanks and have a great week
I presume you mean what are describes as “Teams” in the app? If so, I’m not at all surprised. Like most fun/social features in the app (candies? friends?), it’s received so little attention that it’s pretty much dead.
The last time anything that anyone cared about was done with teams was, I think, a FIFA World cup a few years ago.
I just fired up the app. It took me several minutes to even find the Teams settings page (and inconsistently, the link you tap says Teams; the page is headed Waze Groups). In there are 6 teams for London. Five of them are for radio stations I have never heard of, despite living in London for 50 years.
The sixth is for “London Live”. I recognise the logo - it’s a London TV (not radio!) station; and a pretty poor one.
I have no idea why these teams exist. The only benefit I can possibly imaging from joining one is if I like my appearance on the map to show the team logo. I’m guessing that’s why London Live has 13K members - because proud Londoners want to declare it. Given the massive absence (and illegality) of TV in cars, I don’t think these people are fans of the TV channel. Not to mention that London Live broadcasts kids TV until 9am, switches to low-value daytime TV, shows bad/violent/tittilating movies in the evening and broadcasts no live programming, news or traffic at all!
Teams/groups are dead - in the UK, at least. Killed by neglect and irrelevancy.
Hi,
My post isn’t referring to the Teams feature, but to Graphic Assets community members might like to have for their Social Media channels, like when a Facebook group reaches 5K users and the admin wants to mention it in a celebratory way.
Thanks!
Hi
I’m happy to share that the Generic Graphic Assets you chose are ready for you to modify and share with your communities
A Zip file containing the editable versions of the images, is in the hub, including their previews and a short explanation.
I hope you’ll like these images and find many uses for them
Just a heads up that I posted this last message again, as a topic on its own so it’ll be sticky and accessible.
