- What is this script?
This is a user script that adds two helpful features to make using the Waze Map Editor (WME) more convenient.
Displays a red “+” in the center of the screen (making the center easier to identify)
Ensures that when the page is reloaded, you return to the previous location (map center) you were viewing
2. What it can do (Effects)
Effects of the red “+”
When you want to work based on the map center, the midpoint is immediately obvious.
It makes it easier to center the map even in areas without landmarks.
Effects of position restoration
Even if you refresh (reload) WME, you return to the place you were just looking at, so you are less likely to get lost.
It makes it easier to resume your work even if the page refreshes while you are editing.
3. Where it works (Supported pages)
This script runs on the Waze Map Editor (WME) editing screen.
Simply open WME as you normally would and you’re good to go.
