Hi,

I’m trying to add our new business outlet to the Waze map. However, when I attempt to save it, I receive the following message: “You do not have permission to make some of the changes. Suggestion: Check and try again.”

Could someone assist me with adding our business address to Waze?

For other editors who can edit in Malaysia you can send coordinates of your business

@kastiMeow Not entirely correct. The error usually occurs when you have not driven there before with Waze running and a user tries to add a place via the WME. You will need to have driven to the area before for you to be able to edit.

Also, before you offer to add a place when OP has posted in the Malaysia forum, please ensure you are sufficiently proficient in our editing guidelines here and have actually been to Malaysia before to have the appropriate editing permissions here.

@world_effaled0 please add the place you would like to add via your Waze app when you are physically at the location. Else, please provide more details about the place you would like to add.

We also do not ask for users to simply “increase” their level in order to edit. Level promotions are only granted if the local leadership is satisfied with the quality of your edits, knowledge towards editing and local guidelines, and community involvement.

Before giving out any information, please ensure you are giving out accurate information as well.

oh cool, thanks for that! I didn’t find a hotel I have to go to tomorrow, it is fairly new, and wanted to add its details, but encountered the same error. It is another country, but Ia ssume the same reason : D Will do that tomorrow than. thanks for the explanation!
