Hi everyone, I am trying to update my business place on Waze Map Editor, but every time I click Save, I receive the following error: “Saving Error - You don’t have permission to make some of the changes.” The place is: AS GARAGE AUTOMOTIVE SDN. BHD. Location: Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia I only updated the business information (description and basic details). The place is currently Lock Level 1. Could someone please advise why this is happening? Is it because of my editing permissions, or does the place need to be unlocked by an Area Manager? If necessary, could an Area Manager help review or update the place? Thank you very much!

Hi Mike, No, I haven’t driven in the Bintulu area using Waze with this account yet.
I am currently located in Penang, while my business is in Bintulu. I also asked my business partner, who is physically in Bintulu, to add the place using the Waze app while at the business location.
Unfortunately, the submission was not successful either. Thank you for moving my post to the Malaysia section. I would really appreciate it if a local editor could help review or create/update the place.

You can’t make changes where you haven’t driven with the app. I did move this to the Malaysia section of the forum, so hopefully someone local follows up.
