Santa Claus Parade

Montreal, Quebec

The Montreal Santa Claus Parade, known as the Défilé du Père Noël, is an annual tradition dating back to 1925. Fans of all ages are expected to attend this parade, which is the most popular Christmas event in Quebec. The Santa Claus parade will exhibit some twenty large floats as well as a thousand singers, dancers and street performers. It will take place on Saturday, November 23 starting from 11 AM at the corner of Fort and Ste. Catherine, parading along until St. Urbain street. Ste. Catherine street from Peel to de Bleury gets so congested mid-parade making it nearly impossible to even walk on the sidewalks. Be sure to use Waze to bypass all the traffic from this fun-filled parade!
