The sb on ramp from 68 to 1 is closed during construction I have marked it a couple of times but it doesn’t stick
Yes, short term closures only stay on the map for a few hours, unless other Wazers give them a thumb up… In this case, I have checked the available CalTrans data and I am not seeing any noted closures at that ramp. Can you provide more details?

The closures are occurring as part of the Holman Highway Roundabout project. Authorities are closing various parts of the intersection of SR-68, SR-1, and the 17 Mile Drive off and on, and will continue to do so through September. I have not studied it closely, but as far as I can tell the closures are always temporary and not well announced ahead of time, which makes it very hard for those of us at a distance to help. Meanwhile we do not have a volunteer local to that area who is keeping close tabs on the daily changes.
So, users marking short-term closures via the Waze client are our best way to cope with the situation for now, as far as I know.

Just a guess, but they may be on a bit of a break for the holiday and may resume posts next week sometime.
New URs indicating that the roundabout is open; I have made some changes consistent with the plans and intermediate construction staging. We will likely need a ‘boots on the ground’ or additional URs to fine tune everything.
