A wrong place that does not exist in the map editor and corrected in Google Maps still appears in the search result in the application

Steps to reproduce this issue:

  1. Write in the search in Hebrew “חצר המלכה”
  2. An automatic completion list will open

The expected result is that only the right place will appear that is correct (permalink to the correct place) This is also the place that appears on Google Maps.
The actual result is that two places appear. The correct place and
also a wrong place at this point 31.0460310,34.85163689. It is not clear why this wrong result is displayed in the application when it does not exist in the editor and does not exist in Google Maps
The wrong result leads to these coordinates 31.0460310,34.85163689. An attempt was made to delete the link to Google Maps, but it did not help.
It is possible to see the discussion about the problem in the Israel forum [כנות] עזרה בתיקון בחיפוש - לא הצלחתי למצוא את שורש התקלה - #3 by lg1992 It is contain screenshot.

Hello @cnor_il

Thank you for your report. I was able to reproduce this issue on my end as well.
This appears to be a Waze client issue, a search function needs to investigated; I have filed an internal ticket in the relevant client component.

You will be informed as soon as we have more updates.

Best regards,
Olesya

Hi Olesya,

I hope you’re doing well.

I’m following up on the issue I previously reported about חצר המלכה . You mentioned that the problem had been identified and that an internal ticket was filed for the relevant client component.

I recently checked, and it seems that the issue has not yet been resolved. Has there been any progress in investigating it? I’d appreciate any updates you can share, including an expected timeline for a fix.

Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Cnor_il

Hello @cnor_il

I’m sorry to have kept you waiting. I’ve just reached out to the team for an update and will let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

In the meantime, just wanted to ask you if this is the only place where you see this kind of behavior?

Best regards,
Olesya

Hello Olesya,
Regarding your question, this is the only place I know of with this problem. Yesterday I also asked the other area managers in the WhatsApp group if they knew of any other cases and so far no one has responded.
Best regards,
Ron (cnor_il)
