Permanent Alerts (addition, deletion, modification) [PA]

Hello, editors! :waving_hand:

This topic is intended to centralize all requests for the registration, deletion, or modification of permanent alerts on the map.
Permanent alerts cover different types of warnings displayed to drivers, such as speed cameras, speed bumps, and other similar elements.

Since editing access levels can vary depending on the type of alert, requests can be posted here so that other editors with the appropriate permissions can evaluate and apply the changes.

When making a request, please include:

-Alert type: (e.g., speed camera, complex intersection, etc.)
-Permalink of the location
-Additional information: (e.g., operating hours for school zone alerts)

To learn more, visit the Permanent Alerts topic.

Best regards and happy editing!

Good afternoon!

Speed cameras have been added on BR-316 in Ananindeua/PA at Km 4.7 and Km 6.2 with a 70 km/h speed limit, according to the Inmetro website.
These cameras were marked as “false” on the map.

Best regards.

Existing speed bump at this point, without prior warning signage, located on a downhill or uphill section (depending on the direction of traffic).
The absence of warning signs significantly increases the risk of accidents, especially for drivers who are unfamiliar with the area.
The old warning sign has fallen and only the post remains; even if it were standing, the roadside vegetation already completely obscures the field of vision, making the warning ineffective.

This combination of factors — a speed bump on a slope, lack of prior warning, and dense vegetation — requires a sudden reduction in speed, which can create dangerous situations for unsuspecting drivers.

The inclusion of this point on the Waze map is requested to improve road safety and prevent rear-end collisions or damage to vehicles.
This report was made based on direct observation at the location, with the goal of keeping the map up to date and contributing to safer driving for everyone.

Good evening, @aliandrochagas !
Welcome to Discuss (forum).
Speed bump added.
Thank you.

Fixed speed camera – 40 km/h limit

https://waze.com/pt-BR/editor?env=row&lat=-1.44588&lon=-48.09255&zoomLevel=18&mapComments=420279

Active fixed speed camera with a 40 km/h limit in both directions. The equipment is visible on-site and properly signed with regulatory speed limit signs. Requesting inclusion on the map to update the speed camera database and prevent undue violations.
Standard traffic authority camera measuring instantaneous speed. Visually confirmed at the marked point.

Speed bump with poor signage

https://waze.com/pt-BR/editor?env=row&lat=-1.38385&lon=-48.09453&zoomLevel=18&mapComments=420893

Existing speed bump at this location, with partially faded yellow markings and no advance warning signs, which reduces visibility and can surprise drivers, especially those unfamiliar with the road or driving at night.
The lack of advance signage (usually positioned about 100 meters before) increases the risk of sudden braking and minor incidents, making it essential to include this speed bump on the Waze map.
Asphalt structure in good condition, requiring a full reduction in speed for safe passage.
Reported based on direct on-site observation, aiming to contribute to road safety and map updates for all users.

Good evening, @aliandrochagas!
40 km/h speed camera added.
Thank you.

Speed bump added.
Thanks

Good morning!

This way, it makes it easier to include the speed bump!

Best.

Hi everyone. On the 25th and 26th of this month, I opened several URs on sections of BR-010, PA-252, PA-140, PA-150, and PA-466. I don’t have an editing area in Pará (for now, I only have areas where I passed through that had a cell signal), so I’m asking editors to add the speed bumps when you see my URs. I was driving, so I couldn’t specify the error.
Some URs didn’t show up with my name, but looking at the satellite imagery, you can see the speed bump in some of them.
I don’t remember clearly, but I think there are some on BR-316 as well.

Kudos to the editors in Pará for the alerts. EVERY speed camera I passed is included on the map.

Until next time!

Good afternoon, @MrBentoJr!
There are no more URs with an opening date of 02/25/2026; with the date 02/26/2026, there are some in Parauapebas and one on BR-316 in Santa Luzia do Pará.

Congratulations to everyone who contributes to keeping the map of Pará as up-to-date as possible! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Best regards.

It was because of the lack of cell signal. Once a Starlink sponsorship comes through, that’ll change!
