What about a Belgium Forum?
What are the different steps that need to be taken?
Uh, might want to use the Dutch, French or even German forums?
Forums are language-specific actually, not country specific (yet the title suggests otherwise).
Yeah - maybe we need change it to the language ? I am wondering if country would do any good since the idea was to bridge the language gap more than country specific.
So far it’s mainly europe. When the languages are the same, the roads and constructions are pretty similar. I really don’t see an advantage in splitting up.

Heb het gevoel dat de Belgische community stilaan aan het groeien is.
Ik ben area manager voor de regio noord Limburg en Genk (alles rechts van de a24 (N74))
Maar ben de enige echt actieve member in deze area.
De basemap begint hier stilaan vorm te krijgen, maar’k moet op’t moment alles zelf rijden, en aanpassen, dus echt snel gaat’t niet. De hoofdwegen staan er wel beetje bij beetje op.
I think a “Belgium” forum would also a good idea to do the change request in for Belgium
as it would be tedious to read thru all the “Netherlands” request…
I drive around quite a bit but I can not be area manager for everywhere I drive as it would complicate things for area managers local to the region who know it better than i will.
I will request to be area manager for the greater “Sint-Niklaas” area and maybe more I’ll see.
What is the best way to get in touch with each other regarding map problems, like for now I know an issue wit a road direction but can not fix it as long as I’m not an area manager, but no means to contact or flag it in the cartouche…

Starting but addicted Wazer
Ik heb eerder het gevoel dat steeds minder mensen waze gebruiken. Steeds minder en minder zie ik nieuwe wegen tevoorschijn komen. Toch in regio Oost-vlaanderen / Antwerpen.
Hopelijk is de basismap snel grotendeels in orde zodanig het navigeerbaar wordt voor dagelijks gebruik.
Persoonlijk vind ik een dutch forum voorlopig voldoende. Als we beginnen met Belgium forum kunnen we hierna vragen voor een Flandres en Wallonie forum… :).
Hier nog ééntje, uit het Noord-Oosten van Antwerpen maar wil er terug vanaf wegens te omslachtig en zéér weinig tijd hiervoor. Kan niet rijden en aanpassingen doen ter gelijkertijd hé. 
Ik doe ook wel eens wat aanpassingen, en om de rechten in mijn buurt zeker goed te hebben, heb ik ook AM privileges aangevraagd. Ik zou alleen graag eens een beetje overleg willen over hoe we alles aanpakken misschien.
Leuk een eigen Be forum nu nog een massa area managers.

Ik ben area manager van het centrum van Antwerpen tot het centrum van Brussel en heb al aardig wat op de grote wegen opgelost. De kleine baantjes hou ik me niet echt mee bezig (buiten in mijn eigen gemeente), dat lijkt me iets voor de locale bewoners.
Die zo verder is de grote dan de kleine. Ik heb de streek tussen gent en brugge aangepakt nu ben ik rond gent bezig ouwegem, Eke, Nazareth, … en de streek rond Namur.
Ben hier ook pas nieuw. Is hier nog wat te beleven?

Ben sinds kort ook actieve waze gebruiker en reeds AM voor de omgeving van Dendermonde.
Heb nu ook AM aangevraagd voor de driehoek Antwerpen - Gent - Brussel.
Een eigen dutch forum is misschien nodig maar vergt ook weer tijd die dan niet kan gebruikt worden om waze beter te maken.

There’s already some Wazers that are active in Belgium, but Belgian Wazers don’t communication that much on the forum (maybe that the language is a problem - I must confess I feel more at ease with English than with Dutch :oops: )
And I’ve the project to develop a section of the Wiki to Belgium.
Thus, if some of us want to take a decision about Forum and Wiki, I’m glad to jump in !
About the forum, I see two possibilities:
- Close the Belgian Forum and split it in French, German, and Netherlands Forums ;
- Speak in English and mention it in the title of the forum.
About the Wiki, I think that I’d be good to write down the conventions that we try to follow in Belgium. And since I think that theses conventions are almost identical in all areas, either we translate each page, or we write it in English too.
So, what do we do ?
I agree we need a Belgium wiki to have consistent rules for Belgium. We can use the Netherlands wiki as reference, but i think some things are quite different here (the multi-language problem to start). I propose the ‘master’ rules wiki to be in English. Changes of rules will be made to this one and it should be considered as the latest/correct version. If some people want to help with translated versions they can always do so, but they always start from the English version. Otherwise the different translations will get ‘out of sync’ and people from different regions will start creating rules in only one language version.
As for the forum, users could create topics within the Belgium forum to discuss about a specific region in the local language because that would mostly concern users in the neighborhood. Then there should be one forum with global scope e.g. a “Belgium rules” forum. The title should mention those discussion should be in English. Users that want to propose rules should discuss it there in English and when there is a consensus the change is made to the rules wiki in English.
I am not familiar with the technical details of creating a wiki, but i am willing to help out with the content.
