I’m trying to add the fact that Stonehouse Ln, Purfleet, Thurrock is closed (well half is) by the highway maintenance and has been for the past week. The map editor says I can’t edit unless it’s part of my drive. IT IS PART OF MY DRIVE!! can someone please change this road to closed. Details below:
THURROCK Council is set to close a major road in Purfleet for two weeks.
Stonehouse Lane in Purfleet will be closed from 0800 hrs on September 26th to 1700 hrs on October 8th
During the last few days we had several reports of issues related to RTC. They were reported to Waze and they work on fixing them.
My best suggestion is to contact your local community coordinator and give him/her the specific details, so he /she could provide examples to the Waze team.

Road closures are available to editors of a certain level and above only (L3 I think). The error message you got is a catchall, bottom of the list of possibilities when no other specific error matches.
I’ll sort out the closure for you. I guess “half closed” is upto the roundabout with Dolphin Way? Is it the north end or southern end which is closed?
Thanks for the reply; the closure is from the south end (London Rd end) to the second turning on the left, going north (next to the entrance to a side road with a business with yellow lorries if that helps). How do I get to L3? I make a reasonable amount of changes but anything more I keep having to contact editors to make the changes (which I’m guessing doesn’t increase my ranking/points). Would be a lot easier if I could get them done myself. Thanks again

Place additions and edits also go towards your edit count, along with road changes. If you find an edit you can’t do then if you ask for an unlock in this same forum one of us can unlock it for you, then you still get the edit points.
