Thanks to the other users on the live chat (love that option!), I was finally able to edit my house number. However, when I went to save it, I was given an error message of “number already exists”. The tag I put on my next door neighbor says “wrong side”. It’s not my fault that the developer for our neighborhood was seemingly trying to shelter someone in the Witness Protection Program!
I get this error message sometimes when there are old incorrect house numbers imported Google data years back. In certain areas, Google had the location of all the house numbers in the same place, so they are stacked one on top of another.
I’m guessing that this may be the case for you, but if you can post a permalink (PL), we may be able to investigate this issue further for you.
Please also include city and state, as we all have different editing rights throughout the state.

Thank you for the help. I’m not sure if this is a permalink, but here’s the URL of the page I’m editing:

Based on your link, would the issue be on Wattle Dr in the San Diego area? Instructions on how to do a permalink can be found here:

Before I go on a wild goose chase, I want to confirm that we are looking at the correct street/area.
Thanks,
