Closure request: Bexley Lane DA1

First post!

MikeRyalls helpfully responded to a map problem I created a couple of weeks ago for a road closure due to roadworks. He suggested a run time of two weeks, which has now lapsed. The works continue (as part of the ongoing Bourne Road works); but the road on Waze map is currently showing as open.

The closure is at the end of Bexley Lane leading on to A207 London Road, just after it passes Chapel Hill. There is currently no access here and as a result, no right turn at the bottom of Chapel Hill onto Bexley Lane, and no access from that end of Bexley Lane onto London Road.

I suspect that these works will continue for several more weeks. I would suggest a start time on 1st August, and an end time of say midnight on 6th September. I pass this junction several times a week and will be happy to update accordingly.

Hi Jonny, welcome to Waze editing and the forums. Have you seen the guide to editing at https://www.waze.com/wiki/UK_Quickstart? Far too much to absorb in one go, I know!

A link to the segment(s) to be closed would have been nice. You can create one by selecting the segments on WME (Waze Map Editor) and then clicking the icon in the extreme bottom right-hand corner. But never mind, you described the area very clearly, and I have now closed off the end of Bexley Lane until the end of 6th September. roadworks.org has these works down to end on 21st September, so you may need to come back and request an extension.
