Hey folks,

Can someone pop in the 7-10am and 4-7pm turn restrictions for the college green bus corridor with level 5, make it normal street?

I’m using http://www.dublincity.ie/RoadsandTraffic/Documents/orbital_map.pdf as a reference.

I’ve done Hawkins St.

Yep; I’ll take care of it. I put in the existing arrangement (with the short section of parking lot road) before we had the time-based restrictions available.

Just to make sure I’ve got this right: it’s only restricted to buses only between 7-10am and 4-7pm Monday to Friday, is that right? (that’s what it says here anyway)

Alright, I’ve removed those two bits of parking lot road and put in the time restrictions on the turns.

The bit of Hawkins St you edited is already marked as a private road, which it should be, because it’s for buses only. (this means that Waze will never route people along it, but it also won’t raise any automatic errors if somebody (such as a taxi) drives along it anyway).

The other short link opposite the Bank of Ireland by the taxi rank that can be used for U-turns: do you know if there any turn restrictions on this?

Quick update on this: I got a UR last night from somebody who had been routed down Pearse St towards College Green (straight ahead rather than right onto Tara St). The reporter pointed out that this junction is always buses and taxis only - there’s no time that normal cars are allowed through it.

Consequently, I’ve put a very short bit of parking lot road at this junction; this will stop anybody ever being routed this way, but will also stop automatic map problems from being generated by the Waze users who do go through here anyway (such as taxi drivers).

that’s how I understand it. The short u turn doesn’t have restrictions as far as I know. Yeah, that road in front of pearse garda station in buses only, it used to be buses and taxis at certain times and all traffic at off peak times even though this was not what the sign said at the entry to this road. But now it’s only buses and taxis. Did I update this? I see what you say about hawkins, I misinterpreted the map before.
