Is there a way to send a message to an ‘anonymous’ Wazer (e.g. “world_46z77c73”) who’s submitted a place update request? It would occasionally be useful - to explain why one has been rejected, for example, or (like the one which prompted this thought) to explain that if a fuel price at a filling station is incorrect it’s the work of a few seconds to update it via the app while you’re there but it can’t be done ‘remotely’ by editors.
At the moment, there is no option for this. In some of the Office Hours and meet ups they have been promising a new messaging system that could make this possible.
That kinda sucks. So now there’s a user who knows the fuel prices at a gas station aren’t correct, probably doesn’t know how to change it themselves, I can’t get in touch to explain how to do it, and I can’t change them in WME. So they probably now think their PUR has been dismissed out of hand.
Sadly…yes. I deal with these kinds of reports several times a day in California.
