Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Are the gates on Arcadia Falls only for resident use? Also, can anyone exit through them or only certain people?
Picking up the thread on this old, but still desired request. Tree Tops has a Main (manned) entrance at Tranquility Blvd meant for both Resident and Non-Resident traffic. The entrance at Acadia Falls is Resident only and unmanned. We would like to prevent ALL inbound traffic from being routed to the Acadia Gate, because this often causes unsafe backups when Non-Resident traffic discovers they can’t get in and then have trouble backing out onto Van Wyke. So our request is that Waze route all traffic inbound to Tree Tops through the Main Tranquility Gate only. We understand this will not always be optimal for residents, but they know there is a secondary gate and when it is the better choice for them. All traffic outbound from Tree Tops can use whichever gate is optimal for their destination, as both the manned and unmanned gates open automatically outbound. After looking at a Map Editor Tutorial, it seems this is easily done in one of two ways. (1) Prevent both left and right turns off Van Wyke onto Acadia. (2) Make the short stretch of Acadia between Samoa Ridge and Van Wyke one-way only outbound. I hope this answers all your questions. If not, I will keep an eye on the thread and follow-up.

Unfortunately, we are not able to process this request. It is policy that we route in favor of the resident within private communities. I recommend advising guests to add a stop for the visitor’s gate by searching for “Tree Tops Guardhouse” or “9090 Van Wyck Rd, Lancaster, SC” when navigating to an address within the community.
