County Roads

Hi all. A long time ago it seems, I was reading the Wyoming Wiki. I noticed the format for naming county roads. How should county roads be named when, like in BigHorn County, east-west roads are called “County Lane xx” or just “Lane xx”.

The north-south roads are named “County Road xx”. Park County is the same way. I wanted get clarification on this when I lived in Greybull, but was distracted before I had a chance to and have since moved. Oh, look. That cloud looks like a dragon.

I will look into this further. For now you can just leave it as Co Ln XXX as the TTS will read it as “County Lane”. County Road can be abbreviated to CR-XX (which I encourage updating to).

I will see about having CL-XX added as an acceptable abbreviation for “County Lane XX”. It may be a while before I have a definite answer.

Update: PesachZ (PZ) is going to bring this up to the other Champs and see what comes of it.

Has there been any new developments on this? Just curious.

I think it was approved but not implemented yet.
